You go girl! This was very nice and I enjoyed reading it. I agree with Lisa, I hope that you find that Paul Bunyon walking with Blue, to take into his strong arms and call you his, with sweet kisses, hugs, and words of love, that we all like to hear. May the Lord be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love, peace, & (((HUGS))), Barbie

| Go you, Nordette. I love this shout with the clout! As refreshing as a girl's night hairwash!! I am so sorry that you have had to suffer all that you have in the dark, but the glory of light, as you say, is its keen exposure, and it brings a kind of Hallelujah chorus of triumph and thankfulness! Funnily enough, my next post lined up says much the same thing - only not as eloquently and lyrically as this, nor with such full-on full-bloodedness. Yeah, livin in the light is where it's at, definitely. TY and bless you, Kate xx |

Nordette,
That's what I love about you. You say what you mean and mean what you say; there is no two facedness about you. Honest in emotion, courageous in strength, I have no doubt that you can't survive anything! BRAVA! on such an excellent piece. :)
WHATTA WOMAN! You inspire me--

| These lines burn with soulful wonders to behold as if each was tongue-lifted straight from the mouth of an exploding star. But then they did come from the pen of an exceptionally gifted poet and that is something very much like a star exploding kaleidoscopic rays of joy and sorrow and undiluted Self. Wonderful to behold indeed. |

Where do I start, Nordette?... the internal rhyme, the locomotive, non-moss-gathering rhythm that barreled along... then the "upside"... and, oh, the yin/yang, dark, light visions. What a poetic painting of "been there, done that" to "I'm worth it!"
As a negative produces a colorful photo to treasure, so you have done here. Lose the blues and dance in the sun! You are not just a damned important poet, you inspire in the truest sense of that word! What a woman! Yeah! katy xox |

| The dark breeds discontent and the light, as they say, shines the glow of truth on that discontent and thereby, you can see where you are stepping. Well, actually THEY didn't say that, but there is nothing wrong with a little amateur, homespun psychology from time to time. Loved the cry in the dark because you did, indeed, shine the light on your claim. |
